About this album
N.K. Singh’s passion for photography stems from his keen interest in nature and gardening. His fascination with Japan dates back to the four years he spent there as the Minister in the Indian Embassy in Tokyo, an involvement that nurtured his sensibility as a photographer.
He has used a combination of both medium format and 35 mm cameras. In the medium format, basic camera was a Hasselblad 500 C/M with flexible use of either Sonner (150 mm f 4) and the Schneider Variogon zoom (140-280 mm f 5.6). For 35 mm format, body of a Leica R-4 with a combination of 45-90 mm f 2.8 Angenieux zoom 180 mm APO (R) Telyt - R f 3.4 which gives excellent resolution along with 75 - 200 Vario - Elma f 4.5 and 100 mm Macro Elmar.
